Here’s everything you need to know about how to support A Great Day Farm during Give to the Max — and how your gift helps us continue providing inclusive, accessible recreation for people with disabilities.
What is Give to the Max Day?
Give to the Max is Minnesota’s annual day of giving — a statewide celebration of generosity supporting the many nonprofit organizations that make life better for Minnesotans.
Can I give via check, cash, or other options?
Yes! There are many ways to give. Credit card, PayPal, Venmo, Google Pay, Apple Pay and donor-advised fund/managed fund can all be used to donate online.
If you prefer to donate by check or cash, those gifts count too! Donations mailed in advance can be included in our Give to the Max totals. Gifts received after November 20 still make a meaningful impact — they just won’t qualify for Give to the Max Day prizes or matching opportunities.
Are donor-advised funds (DAFs) accepted?
Absolutely! DAF contributions are a wonderful way to support the farm and can be directed toward Give to the Max or our general year-end fundraising efforts.
Does this replace your year-end fundraising?
Not at all — it kicks it off! Give to the Max is the start of our giving season. As a community-serving nonprofit, we rely on ongoing support to keep our facilities open and our programs thriving. Gifts made through the end of the year help us build a strong foundation for the coming year’s work.
